About the role

We have an opportunity in our Sydney office for an Accounts Clerk to join our busy team.

Reporting directly to the Accounts Manager, your tasks will include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Daily Processing and Reconciling of (A/R) - Direct Deposits – 7 office accounts
  • Processing and Reconciliation of Corporate Credit Card transactions – 4 offices
  • Reconciliation of unapplied Cash report
  • Organise and prepare weekly and monthly accounts rendered/debtors reminder emails
  • Weekly Bill Write offs
  • Data entry
  • Profiling and e-filing
  • Attend Accounts Helpdesk queries
  • Ad-hoc related duties

About you

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Strong computer literacy skills in MS Office, Excel, and Outlook
  • Aderant Accounting software experience is an advantage
  • Demonstrate and ability to meet a deadlines
  • Motivation and a common sense approach
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work and manage multiple tasks
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

An administrative background with exposure to accounting practices, or enrolment in/completion of a TAFE Certificate in Accounting.
