The Role:

Civilmart are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team on a permanent fulltime basis working out of our brand-new Homebush (NSW) office.

You will report directly to our Financial Controller and ideally have exposure working with accounts in the construction, manufacturing or building industry. You will be savvy with technology and proactive in ensuring any potential issues are raised and flagged early!

Experience using JDE would be regarded very highly!!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the timely and accurate payment of accounts when due
  • Resolve account any discrepancies with suppliers
  • Assist with end of month and EOFY reporting
  • Resolve supplier complaints relating to accounts payable
  • Reconcile creditor accounts and reconcile payments
  • Reconcile all invoices to purchase orders
  • Compile ad hoc spread sheets to track expenditure
  • Liaise with internal operations and administrators throughout the business

The successful applicant will have:

  • Experience in a previous Accounts Payable function (essential)
  • Experience using various accounting packages (essential)
  • Intermediate in Excel and proficient in Outlook, Word
  • Able to demonstrate a methodical approach to work
  • Display a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Salary: $61,911.00 – $64,675.00 per year
