Asbestos and Demolition Removal Technician

There will be a six month probation period and the expectation to travel interstate and between sites.
Job tasks and responsibilities:
- Ability to follow instructions given by supervisor
- Good personal presentation
- Comply with all company work procedures
- Appropriate reporting to supervisor/management
- Maintain a high standard of work and strive for continuous improvement
- Act in a genuine, honest and responsible manner
- Good work ethic and physically fit
The following would be highly regarded:
Experience in Friable asbestos removal
CPCCDE3015A - Remove friable asbestos
CPCCBC4051A - Supervise asbestos removal
High Risk Work Licence
Working at Heights / Confined Space Entry
Construction and/or Demolition experience
Suitable candidates must have:
- Current drivers licence
- Own reliable transport
- Industry experience
- White card (or general construction induction card) CPCCOHS1001A
Successful applicants will be required to undertake a full pre-employment medical, physical and drug and alcohol screening prior to a position being offered.
All ACT Government & Health regulations will need to be met .

Job Type: Casual
Salary: $70,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Flexible hours
- Overtime
- Weekend availability
Supplementary Pay:
- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates
