Assistants in Nursing (AINs)/Personal Care Assistants (PCAs)

Randstad have partnered with a local aged care facility in Pottsville to assist them in finding a number of new permanent team members for where you can offer a personal touch and support your local community.

Your New Opportunity:

• 2k sign on bonus
• personal care assistant / assistant in nursing / carer
• salary between $25.32+ p/hr plus super
• provide personal care assistance with daily living
• assist with the delivery and administration of medication
• mobility assistance in accordance with resident care plans
• maintain accurate health care documentation as required
• encourage all residents to participate in scheduled social activities
• build relationships with our residents and their families
• adhere to workplace health and safety guidelines and policies

Requirements:

• minimum of a Cert III in an Aged Care or equivalent
• previous aged care experience highly regarded but not essential
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• must have Australian work rights
• vaccinated against seasonal influenza, and have the relevant COVID and booster vaccinations in line with State legislation
