The Role

Ensure the accurate and timely management of banking operations and contribute to financial reporting for designated business areas.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with stores and customer solutions team to provide procedural guidance, support and practical assistance to resolve banking queries
• Ensure the accurate and complete reconciliation of General Ledger accounts
• Process store refunds, property damage claims for customers and investigate any issues, escalating as required
• Organise weekly payments to agencies and issue weekly statements with reconciliations
• Identify and contribute to improvements of end of day banking processes, as required
• Contribute to and undertake business related projects and other ad hoc tasks, when required

Requirements:

• Intermediate MS Office
• 2+ years experience in a banking or similar related role
• Retail experience
• Great Plains or other large accounting systems
• Completion of VCE or equivalent
