What You'll Be Doing
The Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 in Palliative Care will provide safe, compassionate, quality, person centred specialist care and work in collaboration with patients/families/carers and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes.

How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.
- Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with at least 3 years experience in the clinical specialty and a relevant post-registration qualification.
- Demonstrated experience and skills in providing complex Palliative Care.
- Demonstrated ability to provide safe compassionate quality care that is culturally responsive.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with clients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team in a personable and professional manner to identify and ensure responsiveness of care needs, and personally resolve conflicts when they arise.
- Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking and problem solving skills as it relates to the delivery of advanced evidenced based Palliative Cars nursing.
- Demonstrated understanding and leadership around quality improvement, risk management and work health and safety in the workplace.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, plan, negotiate and organize own work taking into account the impact on others to achieve results and meet deadlines.
- Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
