IST Management is seeking a customer-focused Conference Center Concierge/Receptionist to join the New York, NY team! The Conference Center Concierge/Receptionist will be responsible for covering Reception services on a mixed-use floor that includes a conference center and office space. This role interacts with all levels of IST's client and their guests/partners on a daily basis and must ensure a
superior level of customer service. Ideal candidates have at least two years of professional experience in a mid to large-sized organization. A background in performing arts or theater is a plus.

Hours: Regular Business Hours, Monday-Friday
- Guest Experience – Register guests with building security; Greet guests and extend professional courtesy such as handling luggage/outerwear; Guide guests to appropriate location
- Meeting management – Ensure schedule conflicts are resolved in a timely fashion; Troubleshoot and execute problem solving techniques; Coordinate and serve as a partner to the Administrative Assistants to ensure all guests and meetings are handled professionally and according to specific instructions
- Hospitality – Coordinate meeting catering, assist with employee lunch orders, set up china and flatware, connect video/teleconferencing, ensure rooms are stocked with supplies, organize rooms before/after meetings, run equipment checks at the end of each day
- Consistently, promptly and professionally answer main company line and ensure calls and messages are directed appropriately
- Report maintenance needs for resolution and assist with coordination of work, as needed; Escalate maintenance emergencies; Follow through to ensure prioritization and resolution
- Address any pantry needs with on-site pantry attendant
- Engages Security regarding safety and security functions
- Cross train floater coverage for backup support
- Other projects/tasks as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 years professional experience, preferably in a mid to large-sized organization
- Performing arts or theater background is a plus
- Dependable and punctual
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
- Schedule flexibility
