A bit about your new role:

We are now searching for a Casual Cook to join our kitchen team based at Metro Rehab Hospital, Petersham. Forming part of our friendly kitchen team, you will work closely with our lead Chefs to prepare, cook and serve our patients.

Some of your daily duties:

• Prepare, cook and serve meals in line with procedures
• Apply catering control principles; food safety, waste minimisation and cleaning
• Responsible for maintaining food safety documents
• Stock control and rotation
• Comply with duties as directed by the Chef

A bit about you:

• Knowledge of food hygiene & OH&S
• Excellent time management, organisational, communication skills
• Commitment to drive a positive and sustainable safety culture
• Able to work multiple shifts throughout the week
