- Salary $85,160 - $97,934 p.a plus Super

In this position you will form part of a passionate team, engaging with the community to collaborate on resident led neighbourhood initiatives and develop volunteer capacity for projects and activities that align with Waverley’s community strategic plan. You’ll do this by connecting people and their interests to community projects (including community gardening), improving Council’s volunteering strategy, facilitating small events and recognising community achievements. This role is for you if you are passionate about community-based initiatives, are solutions focused, great with people and processes, and enjoy negotiating outcomes with often conflicting priorities
If you have tertiary qualifications in Social Sciences, Communication, or equivalent experience, and extensive experience in managing/supporting public and community groups, than we’d like to hear from you.
