Our Customer Service Officer - Employee Liaison, is a role allowing you to work from home role once trained. You will provide timely, informative and compassionate advice and assistance to our valued employees who are furloughed due to Covid 19. You will source key information and provide assurance and guidance to employees, managing their safe return to work.
We have a range of days available (see below) and the role can be casual or fixed term for 6 months.
Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Saturday and Sunday 9am to 5pm
About the Role
- Be the first point of contact for employees who either have Covid or are a close contact of a person with Covid
- Act as an intermediary to the facility to provide timely and consistent progress updates about employees who are unable to attend work due being in isolation
- Provide caring support to employees
- Escalate enquiries to the appropriate manager for follow up
- Keep employees' case files up to date
- Follow a process of safely returning the employee back to work in a timely manner
About You
- Previous experience working in Customer Service in a call centre will be highly regarded
- Superior interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal required
- Demonstrated empathy and compassion to employees, with an ability to remain calm and patient under pressure, and manage emotional and/or challenging employees in a supportive manner
- Organised and efficient with strong time management, and wide-ranging IT skills
- Sensitivity to issues of confidentiality, gender, cultural diversity, disability and age in dealing with a wide variety of client groups
- National Police Clearance (no older than 6 months) or willingness to obtain one
- Evidence of Flu (2022) and Covid vaccinations (including Booster if eligible)
