Latrobe Regional Hospital have an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified Registered Psychiatric Nurse- Grade 4 or allied health equivalent to join the Dual diagnosis team on an ongoing basis.

Reporting to the Manager of the Specialist and Therapeutic programs this role plays an important role in improving the capacity of mental health (Clinical & Mental Health Community Support Services (MHCSS) and Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) services to support people with mental health and substance use problems.

This role provides education, primary, secondary and tertiary consultation to organizations delivering mental health and/ or AOD services at Latrobe Regional Hospital.

The successful applicant will:

• 
  have experience in working effectively with clients/ patients who have a Dual Diagnosis
• 
  Qualification in AOD studies (or working towards)
• 
  Demonstrated experience in the provision of consultation, education & training.
• 
  Cert IV in Workplace Assessment and Training
• 
  Experience in partnership building
