Branch Responsibilities

The Health Business Systems Branch is at the forefront of technological development, taking

advantage of cutting-edge technology, innovation, and transformation. The Branch is

responsible for the design, implementation, and operational management of multiple

customer-facing and business enabling systems.

While working in the branch, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively and be

provided space to work autonomously and to specialise or focus on elements that align with

their individual strengths and interests.

Key Responsibilities

Developers in the Health Business Systems Branch are given the unique opportunity to

contribute to delivering large digital transformation projects. Your responsibilities will

require you to apply your skills and experience across a wide range of activities contributing

to the development of public facing digital systems, that are critical to support more

efficient program delivery, benefiting everyday Australians in the compliance, regulation,

and provision of healthcare in Australia.

You will:

  • Design and develop user-focused Microsoft Power Platform that achieve the desired

business outcomes.

  • Provide technical advice on Microsoft Power Platform, including configuration and

integration advice.

  • Engage and contribute across the branch to improve the departments Microsoft

Power Platform capability.

Key Capabilities

As a senior developer you will have a combination of deep subject matter expertise and

management skills to provide strategic advice, lead teams, solve complex problems and

manage projects that involve internal and external stakeholders.

You will not only have proven ability to solve problems of a high technical complexity, but

also be able to present these concepts to a broad range of stakeholders, in person or in

writing.
