Job Summary

Do you want a job that’s fun? A job that makes a difference? A job that will allow you to advocate for those with disabilities? If you answered yes, then we want you to join our team of Family Home Providers (FHPs) in the Louisville Metro area.

**Homes with Wheelchair/Assisted Mobility Access Needed**

  • Participants live in the FHP's home while FHP assists them in achieving personal goals and gaining independence
  • FHPs support Participant goals like: improving personal care and wellness, socialization, reading or money management and aiding access to the community through various activities (i.e. grocery shopping, bowling, hiking or going to the movies), as well as daily interaction as part of the family unit
  • FHPs receive $500 per month room & board in addition to semi-monthly pay ($1,500 twice a month)
  • FHPs document Participant progress electronically via Oasis
  • FHP will receive four days of paid training ($12.00 per hour) and free online courses

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal FHP is compassionate, flexible, and detail-oriented. Access to the internet, cell phone and data entry experience preferred. A valid driver's license with reliable transportation is a must.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $3,000.00 per month

COVID-19 considerations:
We are following CDC recommendations. Some meetings may be held virtually, but we have returned to the office full time.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Louisville, KY: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
