We have recently been awarded 2 new villages throughout the Reedy Creek and Spring Gully regions, located near Miles, Queensland and are looking for experienced Kitchen Hands to join our global organisation.

The Position

We have exciting new opportunities for experienced Kitchen Hands, to deliver exceptional quality and service to our residents at our new mining accommodation villages near Miles, Queensland, on a 14/7 roster, 10 hour days.

You will play a pivotal role in assisting in the delivery of high quality and efficient food services to our residents staying on-site.

Your tasks will include assisting our Chefs with food preparation, cleaning and washing up the kitchen area and equipment, maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment, assisting with restock and stock rotation, loading and unloading of supplies, partaking in stocktake and any other ad hoc tasks as required.

These positions are FIFO or BIBO ex Brisbane or DIDO ex Toowoomba and surrounds. Locals are encouraged to apply.

The Person

• Hospitality back of house experience desirable but willing to train new entrants
• Ability to work long shifts (10 hour days) in a fast-paced environment
• Drivers licence and own reliable transport
• Be flexible and adaptable
• Ability to work within a team and autonomously when required
• Physically fit and able to stand on their feet for up to 10 hours per day
