We are an upscale wine, beer, and spirits store currently looking for a detail-oriented, hard-working, enthusiastic and friendly candidate for our Full Time Key Holder position. We focus on offering a unique selection of fine wine, craft beer, and artisanal spirits and strive to build a welcoming and educational environment for both our customers and our staff.

Responsibilities include -

• Providing superior customer service to our patrons in a polite and knowledgeable fashion
• Cashier duties (including proficient operation of our POS system and accurate money handling)
• Maintaining a sales floor presence and awareness
• General stocking and inventory duties
• General cleaning, organizing, and upkeep of the store and displays
• Accepting and receiving deliveries from distributors
• Accurately following store opening/closing procedures
• Handling any customer service issues in a professional and courteous manner
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements -

Minimum experience and requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Possess basic knowledge of wine, beer and/or spirits
• Have prior experience in retail sales/customer service
• Outgoing personality and enjoyment of sales/interacting with others
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Computer and internet proficiency
• Flexible scheduling availability; hours include daytime, evenings, weekends and holidays (Friday and Saturday availability is required)
• Ability to lift 40-50lbs overhead multiple times daily and ability to climb a ladder

Preferred candidates will:

• Have prior experience in the beverage industry (please include any previous experience in the alcohol industry in your cover letter)

• Possess a strong desire to continue to learn and expand knowledge of wine, beer, and/or spirits
• Demonstrate a history of working as a team player and assisting others

• Have strong knowledge and understanding of social media marketing and content writing
