At this time, we're seeking a Group Facilitator to support our team that deals with addiction medicine. The ideal candidate must be a caring individual who prioritizes communication and engagement, and who would like the opportunity to work in a high stress, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating interactive discussions, leading group discussions and assessing progress.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain awareness of the group's needs and feelings as well as the group goals.
- Create a warm and open atmosphere in which clients can feel comfortable.
- Encourage participants to share their experiences and feelings without fear of being judged.
- Help clients to identify their strengths and weaknesses in order to facilitate change.
- Facilitate the sharing of personal experiences among the group.
- Act as a role model for maintaining recovery through honesty, self-awareness, and accountability for one's actions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
