You will have the opportunity to work across 8 different functions rooms with events up to 700 seated guests as part of our Conference & Events team.

To succeed in this position, you will have the ability to leverage off your previous banquets and leadership experience, including mentoring and motivating others, to assist with engaging and inspiring your team and driving the business forward. You will demonstrate a dedication to excellence in food production with a commitment to quality and consistency, as well as display comprehensive knowledge of contemporary and traditional food styles. Experience working within in a similar sized property or multi outlet venue will be attractive to us.

• have prior experience in a similar role or a minimum experience as a Chef de Partie
• have strong experience managing expenses in a restaurant (food costs, stock ordering and labour costs)
• can work in a corporate environment within company policies and guidelines
• are comfortable and have experience delivering food for large scale events to a high standard
• enjoy motivating and coaching others
• have flexibility to work across a range of shifts
• have an innovative way of thinking and enjoy challenging your team to better themselves
