What We’re Looking For...
We are looking for someone who can coach and support our team leaders and management through ER and IR matters. Experience in manufacturing, warehousing, call-centres or similar would be highly valued. WHS is also important due to the needs of the site.
Saluda Medical has experienced rapid growth in recent years, this role would suit someone keen for the challenge to grow with us. The ideal candidate would also enjoy working in a very hands-on HR environment, who is passionate about our purpose and loves to support the people who are making it happen.
We are a small, fun, HR team who are supportive of your growth and development. There is also opportunity for flexible work hours.
Your role will include:
- Support and coach leaders to continue to develop their capabilities
- Provide basic counselling to staff who experience performance related obstacles
- Ensuring that grievances, complaints, and all employee relations matters are handled sensitively
- Oversee Saluda’s WHS system with focus on WHS compliance and best practice for in Manufacturing
- End to end recruitment and selection for key business unit, supporting other recruitment activities as needed
- Support and develop reward and recognition processes
- Conduct and oversee employee offboarding, terminations and exit interviews
- Provide advice, assistance and suggestions for staff performance evaluations
- Maintain HRIS data and information
- Support Learning and Development initiatives
- Encourage a culture of trust, innovation and customer focus from all stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication and promote understanding within the company
About you:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Human Resources Generalist or HR Business Partner
- Experience supporting teams in a manufacturing, call centre, warehouse, retail or similar enviornment
- Experience supporting and developing Workplace Health and Safety programs
- Knowledge and experience in employment law, remuneration and benefits, organisational planning, recruitment, WHS, organisation development, employee relations, safety, employee engagement.
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or other relevant degree
- Enthusiastic team player with strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to work independently as required
- Excellent organisational management skills
- Exceptional written and spoken communication skills
