This is a targeted position in accordance with Policy Directive (PD2016_053) NSW Health Good Health - Great Jobs: Aboriginal Workforce Strategic Framework 2016 - 2020. The Rural and Regional and Mental Health Services Human Resources team comprises of nine contemporary Human Resource professionals, working out of three locations (Waratah, Tamworth and Inverell) across the Hunter New England Local Health District. We are responsible for the provision of Human Resource consultancy across four sectors of Hunter New England Local Health District- Hunter Valley, Mehi, Peel and Tablelands Sectors.
We support district-wide services including Mental Health Service, Aboriginal Health, Aged Care and Rehabilitation, Drug and Alcohol Clinical Services, Oral Health Services and Violence Abuse and Neglect.
An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Human Resources officer to join our team and assist in the provision of Human Resources support to our services.
This role plays a proactive and integral part in ensuring all administration responsibilities and fundamental human resource duties are undertaken efficiently, timely, professionally and accurately to ensure we provide comprehensive and consistent Human Resources support.
Along with our Consultants, you will provide high-level administration and Human Resource support to the Human Resource Manager.
As the successful candidate you will be enthusiastic, have exceptional attention to detail and high level organisation skills. You will be able and willing to build strong working relationships with all key stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be based at our Tamworth site.
An eligibility list will be created for future permanent part time and temporary part time vacancies.

All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA).
