About the role:
Are you ready to take your next career step and join a highly successful, industry leading global business? We are looking for an Industrial Coordinator to join our NAPA team. This role has the flexibility to be based at a store location North or South of the river.
As our Industrial Coordinator you are the first point of contact with our customers, via email and over the phone, assisting them with product information and queries. Your key focus will be to ensure customer satisfaction in a team-oriented environment whilst providing sales support to the Account Managers when required.

Key responsibilities and skills will include:
- Achieve Team sales and GP targets
- Develop profitable long-term relationships with new and existing customers
- Identify Product opportunities for the Channel
- Monitor and take ownership of industrial email address
- Pass on new customer requests requiring follow ups to the Account Managers
- Liaise with vendors and organise buy ins
- Communicate required min/max levels of specific products to the Channel Manager to service customers on going needs.
- Assist with quotes, and tenders
- Provide regular update to Channel Manager of any major projects/activities/events that are relevant to the business
- Regularly attend sales meetings, training sessions and other business-related activities as required by the company or channel
- Develop customer/product knowledge
- Keep up to date with current industry and competitor activity and provide market intelligence
- Support Field Based Key Account Managers with quotes, buy ins and admin tasks
All about you:
- Ideally you will have experience in the Automotive aftermarket industries and/or supplying parts to the mining and industrial environments.
- Your passion for great customer service and sales will be complimented by strong communication skills and a great team-focussed attitude!
- Experience in both sales & admin tasks, preferably within the Industrial Sector
- Knowledge of the heavy industries sector, having previously serviced this sector as an internal API, Branch Manager or external sales looking to move into an internal role
- Proven track record of increasing revenue through generation of leads
- Show an understanding of the challenges facing the industry at present and illustrate a knowledge of the operational attention to detail that will be required to succeed within the industry
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- IT savvy with experience, particularly with ERA and Excel & Word
- Trade or API background desirable but not essential
