This role is situated in the Western Suburbs of Brisbane.

About the role:

As a Senior Engineer in the business you will work on both Systems and Networks Engineering. Coming in as a engineer to the team you will act as an escalation point but mainly work across Network and Systems.
On a daily basis you will be responsible for;

• General infrastructure management
• Design and configuration of networking, load balancing, security and firewalls
• Act as a senior escalation point for critical incidents
• Mentor and knowledge share to junior staff
• Server administration and migrations
• Layer 2/3 routing and switching

Skills required:

• High Level MS Server Skills – Windows/AD/Exchange
• VMware – vSphere (VSAN/SRM Advantageous)
• Networking skills – able to install switches configure vlans etc
• AV/Security skills – Firewalls (at least a good understanding of concepts)
• Backup experience – Commvault preferred
• Linux server experience – their main ERP runs on Linux
• Basic MS SQL Server DBA Skills
• Windows Client management/deployment
• Change Management experience
