We have an exciting opportunity for an Instructional Designer to join the newly formed Performance & Development team at Accent Group.
The Instructional Designer will be accountable for designing, developing, and implementing engaging and culturally consistent content, by applying specific learning theories across all Accent Group brands, products and in store service standards. Reporting into the Group HR Manager, our ideal candidate will have a previous background in learning design, content development in an LMS platform.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Design relevant, targeted, on brand and innovative content and training programs to support specific learning projects and programs across the organisation (soft and technical skills) • Structure content and activities to drive learner retention and engagement through the LMS platform • Adapt instructional design materials across templates ensuring consistency of training branding • Work with wider Training & Development team to develop train-the-trainer guides/materials to assist Line Managers with rolling out training initiatives • Develop and manage schedule for project completion that effectively allocates team resources to the activities • Support a continuous learning culture by reviewing completed to identify future opportunities

The right person will have:

• 3+ years’ experience in learning design, content development and evaluation across a range of programs, audiences and blended platforms • Experience with e-learning is a must • Previous experience in Graphic Design isn’t required, but would be preferred • Exceptional written communication skills aligned to adult learning principles • Expertise in delivering blended learning solutions, face to face and virtual environments with the ability to execute through software tools and platform • Ability to problem-solve and find solutions • Exceptional attention to detail • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment • A ‘Make It Happen’ attitude and willing to go above and beyond! • Thoroughly enjoys working with people and loves Retail!

Education/Qualifications

• E-learning content such as Articulate 360 or similar • Exception Microsoft suite skills – Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Previously experience in multimedia program or Adobe suite is not required, but preferred.
