About the Team
Our Advocacy, Research and Communication Function is a high impact and high-profile function within SSI and is currently seeking to appoint an Internal Communications Coordinator.
This role is critical and will assist in the development and implementation of the internal communications strategy that will address communications across multiple stakeholders (internal and members) to ensure that stakeholders are aware and actively engaged.
About You
On a day-to-day basis, you will manage all internal communication programs including the development and implementation of communication and change strategies including, but not limited to, intranet content, newsletters, briefing materials, FAQs, internal forums and townhalls, special events including staff roadshows and staff engagement surveys, and member-specific communication
We are looking for someone with relevant demonstrated experience in developing strong relationships with stakeholders. You will have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and will thrive in a fast – paced complex environment. Essential Criteria
- Relevant Tertiary degree qualifications in Communications, Public Relations or Marketing
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills across different channels.
- Experience in the delivery and evaluation of internal campaigns.
- Ability to interpret complex situations that may impact the organisations reputation.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships internally and externally.
- Ability to manage simultaneous projects with limited supervision.
- Ability to be self-motivated, responsive and flexible in an environment with time pressures and multiple priorities.
- Strong knowledge of best-practice and innovative communications trends, tactics and tools.
