Role & Key Responsibilities:
This role will be responsible for but not limited to designing, building, extending and adding new features to several platforms on Microsoft .Net technologies, fixing bugs and delivering continuous improvements to new and existing in-house projects.
The role duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:
- Interpret complex business requirements documentation
- Design and build technology features to provide automation and continuous improvements to platforms and ad hoc technology projects
- Deliver concise and robust solutions based on business requirements
- Review existing technologies to ensure robust solutions are embedded
- Write and interpret complex SQL and C#
- Fix bugs in current and new technologies as required
- Work on ad hoc projects as required
Proven Experience & Qualifications:
- Advanced .NET (C#, VB.NET, Web Services, Win Forms, WPF, WCF, ASP.NET)
- Advanced Visual Studio (TFS, version control best practises)
- Advanced SQL (T SQL, triggers, Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, SSIS, SSRS)
- Advanced VBA including VBS scripting
- Experience developing crystal reports
- Experience working with XML
- Java (developing plugins, services, HTML forms, JavaScript) desirable

- Ability to work well under pressure;

- Strong communication and analytical skills;
- An understanding and interest in financial markets Strong organisational skills;
- Strong communication skills both oral and written;
- Strong problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work independently;
- Ability to prioritise tasks;
