Kindergarten Teacher for LDC wanted for immediate start.

WelloKids is seeking a dedicated and passionate Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our team and run our QLD Government Approved Kindergarten Program.

WelloKids has 2 privately-owned, community orientated centres located in Wellington Point 4160.

Our centre provides a stimulating, nurturing and safe environment for children aged 6 weeks to school age children. We strive to provide a warm and loving atmosphere along with the highest level of quality education and long day care service.

You will be an education professional who embraces the National Quality Framework and provides educational programs of excellence in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.

The successful applicant will have a current working knowledge of the EYLF, QKLG, NQS and an understanding of the Education and Care National Regulations.

In addition to the Kindergarten Program, you would be required to complete all other duties necessary for the successful running of a room in a long day care centre (e.g. setting up, packing away, maintaining hygiene, effective supervision and interactions with children). We want team players and inspirational leaders!

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4-Year Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood, or ACECQA approved equivalent.
  • Current teaching registration / QKFS registration
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or exemption card
  • Current CPR and First Aid (inclusive of Asthma & Anaphylaxis Emergency Management) Certificates (or willingness to obtain these within one month of commencement)
  • Have a working knowledge of the NQF, QKLG, EYLF and current industry best practices.
  • Be computer literate, particularly in word processing with the ability to learn new programming software quickly and competently.
  • Have leadership qualities, be able to motivate and inspire Educators and exercise good interpersonal skills at all levels.
  • Understands their obligations as a mandatory reporter.
  • Have the skills to create a friendly, caring, stimulating and active learning environment.
  • Have a genuine interest in promoting children's learning and well-being
  • Is an Australian citizen or resident

This role requires a confident, professional, and motivated Teacher with the ability to work within a team environment and have a strong work ethic and initiative.
