The Role
ALS is seeking enthusiastic Laboratory Technicians for our metallurgical services business in Perth WA. Successful applicants will become part of our busy mineral testing laboratories striving to exceed customer expectations by delivering quality results on time.
These positions are available in the Assay Laboratory and Product Preparation sections. Applicants with laboratory experience and training will be highly regarded but ALS does actively encourage individuals with factory or process skills to also apply.
The day to day

• Undertake laboratory activities which may include but are not limited to cleaning, labelling, weighing, bulking, sample preparation, digestion, fusing, instrument operation, classical methods, completing jobs/runs for subsequent procedures.
• Apply time management skills so that routine laboratory activities are conducted in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
• Attendance and completion of site and online training when required.
• Maintenance of high standards of cleanliness in the workplace.
• Strict compliance to ALS procedures and policies.
