The Role
The Geochemistry Division in Malaga (Perth–North) is seeking a Laboratory Worker to become part of a team that strives to exceed customer expectations by delivering quality results on time. The role will be fulltime, and the primary responsibilities are for coordination and management of the day to day requirements of the Laboratory Technicians and Chemists.

The role will be day shift while training takes place, but expectation is that the successful candidate will be available for a weekly afternoon shift roster, Monday to Friday. Hours can be flexible, so this is an ideal role to fit in with continued study or family commitments.

This is an ideal entry level role with the expectation of further career development once your skills and experience increase over time.

The day to day
Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring that client turn-around times are met
• Looking after the production of solutions and standards
• Cleaning the laboratory, including basic cleaning such as mopping and sweeping
• Organising priority racks
• Stock control
• Once training complete, be able to work autonomously
• Other duties as the role progresses

• Be able to work within a team environment
• Be able to multi-task and produce accurate results
• Be willing to work afternoon shift
