Landscape Architect & Sales Position

Smoketree Landscape Services is a highly regarded design-build landscape contracting firm in Covington, Louisiana that specializes in the custom design, installation, and maintenance of high-end residential and commercial properties. We are currently seeking a highly motivated, creative, and well-versed landscape architect to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have the ability to oversee the design/sales process and thrive in a team of other landscape professionals.

Job Duties:

• Return sales calls to set up meetings with prospective clients
• Meet with prospective clients to define scope of work
• Project site inventory and creation of base plans
• Ability to learn estimating and proposal creation
• Client relations throughout entire design and installation phases
• Communicate with the entire team including Administration, Field as well as Operations, General Manager and V.P. for sales pipeline

Skills Needed:

• Proficient in free hand design and AutoCAD
• Thorough knowledge of zone 8 & 9 plant material
• Excel at communication with clients and coworkers

Background Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture or horticulture is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
