The City of Aiken is seeking a Landscaping Crew Leader to join our Public Services Department in the Building and Grounds Division.
Job Summary - The Crew Leader serves as team lead in the beautification of City parkways and facilities.
This position trains staff in appropriate use of equipment, policies/procedures and safety guidelines.
Essential Job Functions * Oversees field crews * Operates push and riding mowers, brush chipper * Maintain parkways, right of way and removal of roadside debris * Ability to train workers in usage of small equipment * Installation of sod, trees, and other plant material * Application of chemicals with supervision
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.05 - $24.41 per hour
