Job summary
We are looking for an Early Career Talent (ECT) Recruiter to help grow and scale early career talent hiring in Amazon Web Services (AWS), focusing primarily on student talent in the ANZ region. The ECT recruiter will closely partner with our regional AWS business leaders, HR, Talent Acquisition, Program Managers and the Amazon Student Programs team in the areas of brand awareness, strategy development, candidate search, sourcing, interviewing, and process improvement. They will foster a collaborative team environment and a strong service-oriented culture that ensures delivery of efficient, effective, quality driven service to internal customers whilst also ensuring an outstanding candidate experience.
This Recruiter role is a multifaceted position that will require engagement with several key stakeholders including senior business leaders, universities, partner organizations and candidates. The ideal candidate must be able to earn trust and influence autonomously with key stakeholders. They must be able to plan and prioritize against customer targets, manage candidates against tight timelines, have demonstrated ability to use metrics to drive and show results, while remaining calm in times of high volume and ambiguity. Thriving in a fast paced environment and having a strength in problem solving will be critical to success in this role. The best candidate will draw on extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition while forging dynamic relationships with business leaders, cross functional partners, and centralized student program teams.

Core Responsibilities:
- Partner with multiple stakeholders to build regional ECT strategy and develop a recruiting plan with deliverables, timelines, and a formal tracking process that scales.
- Establish relationships with regional educational institutions and external organizations to promote and drive AWS’ early career brand.
- Build and maintain network of potential candidates through pro-active market research and on-going relationship management.
- Run an end-to-end recruiting process from advertising positions to effectively screening candidates and moving them through a selection process, ending with the offer and onboarding process.
- Work with hiring managers to understand requirements and deliver against role specifications.
- Develop strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the AWS in region, implement new processes and develop standard operating procedures that fits within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.
- Participate in special projects or recruiting initiatives; pilots, process improvement projects, etc.
- Preference for experience in the campus recruiting space.
- Program Management experience and ability to problem solve.
- Experience with sourcing, tracking and managing candidates through candidate tracker systems.
