We write high-quality copy that drives their marketing efforts and converts clicks to leads to clients, and we have helped our firms secure hundreds of millions of dollars in settlements and verdicts.

Job description:

We are looking for writers with experience explaining legal concepts to the average person. If you have written top-level practice area pages, hyper-specific sub-pages, and informative blogs for personal injury, bankruptcy, criminal defense, family law, estate planning, workers' comp, your experience will be a perfect fit for us.

Essential Duties:

• Research legal topics across a wide variety of legal practice areas.
• Write clean, clear copy that explains legal topics to the average person.
• Work independently and meet all deadlines.

Required skills/abilities:

• Legal research and writing skills. Candidates without prior experience in the legal industry (and specifically in these B2C practice areas) will not be considered.
• Excellent research, writing, proofreading, and time management skills.

Education/experience:

• Juris Doctorate (highly preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree from a U.S.-based, four-year college or university IF candidate has an established portfolio of legal writing samples
• Experience with legal writing, and preferably personal injury, criminal defense, bankruptcy, family law, and other B2C practice areas.

Writers are paid per-word, ranging from four (4) to six (6) cents per word based on experience. At the average pace of 1000 words per hour, our writers make from $40-$60 per hour.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
