About the role:

Flavorite is undergoing a high level of growth and has an exciting opportunity for Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance department.

Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, you will be primarily involved with the maintenance of plant, equipment and buildings, ensuring tasks are performed in a safe, productive and cost effective manner. Working in a team, your key responsibilities will include:

• Maintenance of plant, equipment and buildings as specified on work orders
• Procurement of parts
• Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance
• Operation of maintenance plant and equipment
• Participate in a roster that provides 24 hour support to staff and farm in emergency breakdown situations

About you:

• Be a qualified Fitter and Turner or hold an equivalent qualification
• Possess demonstrated mechanical aptitude
• Have the ability to work in a team environment
• Possess a commitment to safety
• Possess demonstrated self-motivation

With each day presenting new challenges and a variety of work, this role will suit someone who has a high level of problem solving skills and is able to react quickly to address any issues that may arise.
