Job description
Do the work that matters:
Your role is ensuring the accounting policies and practices of the organization are followed and a strong understanding of risk assessment is implemented; working closely with internal auditors and external auditors and other financial professionals ensuring that practices are in line with the overall goals of the organization.
You will be a leader in overseeing and evaluating the activities of the accounting staff, and providing for their professional development; analysing and solving accounting problems.
You will be responsible for preparing and leading preparation of reports which summarize and forecast business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings, based on past, present and expected operations.
Your responsibilities:
Build genuine rapport with both internal and external business stakeholders
Ability to lead a team to deliver positive business outcomes through continuous improvement
Dynamic and adaptable to change
Producing accurate and timely financial reports, for internal and external use, in accordance with accounting standards.
Passionate about uplifting and motivating your team
Uphold the Risk Management principles across all risk classes
