ABOUT US:
Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) is a Queensland Statutory Authority established to regulate the building industry and ensure maintenance of proper building standards and remedies for defective building work.
QBCC also serves to educate, protect and support the community and the Industry via licensing and registers, education, dispute resolution and adjudication, and enforcing compliance.
The Manager, Internal Review Unit is ultimately responsible for conducting independent reviews and providing recommendations regarding certain administrative decisions made by various operational areas and business units at the Commission, including matters raised by the Queensland Ombudsman and Queensland Crime and Corruption Commission.

ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
By leading the Internal Review Unit, you will coach and develop your staff, adopt continuous improvement of the Unit deliverables, and cultivate a customer-focused and value-adding Unit with the Commission.

You are a strong collaborative leader, able to develop solid relationships and innovative outcomes, with an analytical mind and investigative approach to problem-solving.
You will have strong examples of previously establishing business improvement processes and developing strategies for dealing with change to deliver quality customer service.
