What you will be doing:
- Conduct initial review and redlining for contracts
- Manage review process and ensure required approvals in contract review process
- Review current and potential suppliers and ensure that they meet financial, insurance, and product safety requirements
- Refine existing processes and develop new processes for changing business conditions or efficiency requirements
- Support and development of systems impacting service delivery, ordering, controls and profitability including inventory, POS and reporting
- Ensure contracts (including certificates of insurance) are recorded and updated in the contract management solution upon execution
- Administrator of the Vendor Management application, including providing day-to-day support to users, supporting the adoption and roll-out of enhancements, developing and delivering training to support current and future users
- Assist business units with Request for Proposals (RFP) by facilitating the process in Oracle Cloud
- 2+ years purchasing/sourcing experience
- 5+ years’ experience with contract review/contract management and Procure to Pay systems
- Strong understanding of procurement and supply chain principles
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and the potential impact of cost controls on company financials
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong negotiating skills to ensure that products and services are delivered at lowest cost
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Solid understanding of contract management solutions to maintain and manage the organizations contract portfolio
- Experience with Oracle Cloud
