The Opportunity

This position works out of our Columbus, Oh location in the Nutrition Division.

Implement the organization's training and development strategy so that the skills and performance of employees meet the organization's current and future needs.

What You’ll Work On

  • Direct all training and development activities to ensure they are conducted efficiently, cost-effectively, and in accordance with the organization's policies and standards.
  • Analyze and identify the training and development needs of employees.
  • Develop an overall training plan to meet the current and planned HR requirements of the organization.
  • Serve as the Quality System Owner (QSO) for AQ02. Personnel, Training and Job Descriptions.
  • Maintain/update the QSO manual. Conduct Global Impact Assessment Reviews (GIARs) as needed.
  • Manage the Training Matrix (requirements) for the Quality organization in the Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Serve as the Business Owner for the Learning Management System.
  • Work closely with Business Technology Solutions (BTS) on two LMS releases each year. Conduct and document User Acceptance Testing (UAT) when needed in support of each release.
  • Drive innovation in department processes to ensure responsiveness to the business.
  • Maintain/revise training procedures, forms and processes as needed.
  • Define and implement key metrics for the training department and for the organization.
  • Train, coach and mentor LMS training admins globally. Provide guidance and support when issues/concerns arise.
  • Drive training projects as needed to support organizational needs.
  • Stay current on developments and innovations in training and education in the industry sector so the organization’s training activities remain relevant.
  • Partner closely with SME’s to develop training courses as needed by the Quality organization.
  • Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of training specialists.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU’LL BRING

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in Training & Development

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a Quality organization.
  • Project management experience.
  • Familiarity with course development software (Articulate 360, Camtasia, Filmora, others)
