Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a Manufacturing Financial Analyst, Plant Controller / Plant Accountant / Manufactory Accountant, or FP&A Specialist as we’d like to call you internally, to be the Finance business partner to the manufacturing division of JDE in Australia. This is a great opportunity to use your financial expertise while gaining commercial experience and to be at the forefront of all of JDE Australia’s exciting innovations. Our current Analyst has, for example, put together the business case for Moccona and Harris beans which are advertised and sold in stores. Are you up for this challenge?
You will work across both our manufacturing plant in Kingsgrove and in our modern office in North Sydney, where we currently have a hybrid work policy (3 days WFO / 2 days WFH).
In this role, you will:
- Provide result analyses that can be used for performance improvement of the factory
- Partner with our plant manager and Supply Chain Director to identify opportunities, including Capex investment, for improvement of financial results for manufacturing
- Calculate budgets and cost price tariffs in SAP, consulting related departments
- Complete the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) with the plant management team taking into account both short term as well as long term consequences
- Review and prepare the costing of the Bill of Materials
- Work on NPD projects, supporting with business case calculations
- Take an active role within continuous improvement projects relating to Finance
- Support with internal control, ad hoc analysis and continuous improvements

For this role as a Manufacturing Analyst, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
- A bachelor’s degree and ideally you have or are working towards a CPA or CA qualification
- You ideally have a few years of experience in a similar role, working within an FMCG
- You have great attention to detail
- You enjoy data analysis
- You like to take a leading role in the creation of business cases and have commercial acumen
- You have excellent stakeholder management skills and enjoy working with both our Manufacturing and Finance teams
