The HFM Marketing Executive is responsible for assisting with the development and execution of the Harris Farm Markets omni channel marketing strategy. The role is predominantly responsible for new product development, new store signage development & BTL marketing activity, with support to the Marketing Executive, Digital Marketing Executive, and Acting Head of Marketing on ATL activities as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist on-going process related to new product development and labels/packaging
- Be the marketing lead in charge of driving all marketing development deliverables of the NPD Critical Path Pipeline
- Liaise with Buying Teams and Food Safety Teams on new product packaging and label requirements, including attending NPD meetings as required.
- Help attain all relevant information that informs the design brief from the relevant parties internally & externally such as pack form, USP, knife lines, NIPS, label order volumes, material requirements etc.
- With review from the Acting Head of Marketing oversee the NPD design process including: creating design briefs for the graphic design team, and coordinate the design roll-out.
- Ensure all NPD projects move to agreed timeline and keep progressing through every check point.
- Liaising with all relevant parties including buyers, food safety, suppliers and printers to ensure that the artwork is to spec
- Coordinate the printing process, including sourcing quotes, ensuring spec is correct, and ensuring buyers are set up to order labels moving forward
- Work on all NPD product launch plans & promotional material across our owned channels engaging relevant members of the marketing team to support your planning where relevant.
Liaise with suppliers
- Respond to supplier enquiries regarding opportunities to work with us such as POS, demonstrations and digital.
- Liaise with buying team and store to ensure awareness and efficient marketing execution
Assist with signage & related marketing material for stores
- Support in the execution of branded collateral; product guides; product education; tips, tricks and recipe suggestions; merchandising and display of product.
- Develop design briefs for a range of marketing POS materials
- Assess and upgrade internal and external store signage as/when required in line with brand direction.
- Respond to store signage requests as required.
Assist with New Store Launch requirements
- Assist in the creative development, design, production and installation of new store signage
- Liaise with creative agency where relevant to achieve the above
- Develop and execute the engagement plans for new store openings working with and engaging other members of the marketing team to utilise the full marketing mix where relevant
- Work with People & Culture and Retail Ops to execute recruitment campaigns for stores in new regions
- Train new staff within the stores on executing marketing materials and how best to work with our team
Assist with brand marketing campaigns
- Contribute to the planning and development of marketing and communications campaigns, promotions and activities.
- Offer support relevant to brand campaign execution including but not limited to research, procurement and assembly of campaign props, store audits & liaison, POS materials kitting and distribution, managing photos and other documentations as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ATTRIBUTES:
- Have finished Tertiary qualifications in Business or Commerce with a Marketing Major / Cert IV in Marketing & Communication
- Awareness of retail marketing, social media marketing & customer care.
- Must have a valid Australian drivers’ licence
