Monash Imaging is an industry leading business and a highly desirable place to work located in the southeast sector of Melbourne. The Imaging department is seeking an enthusiastic administrative officer to join the admin team to support high-level patient centred care.

Monash Imaging as part of Monash Health is a busy, multi-modality department providing diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services to the outer southeast region of Melbourne and West Gippsland for adult and paediatric patients. The environment will offer patients and families a friendly atmosphere together with innovative technology to deliver the very best patient experience.

About the Role

As a medical administration officer, you will be responsible for providing high-level customer service to patients in a variety of settings including:

  • Reception meet and greet role.
  • Phone system, making appointments for internal and external patients according to their medical needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Working on a rotational roster.

About You:

  • You are hardworking, passionate and team focused in your approach
  • Proactive, organized and can work autonomously
  • You are a flexible and inclusive team member
  • Previous experience in radiology or medical administration would be an advantage
  • You pick up new computer software with ease

You must be able to demonstrate:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management skills including planning and organisational skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and privacy of patient information
  • Exceptional attention to detail

  • Based mainly at Monash Clayton, with some rostering to other Monash Health imaging sites within the south east corridor of Melbourne in response to rostering requirements
