Adult Primary Care practice looking for a dedicated Medical Assistant to be part of our outpatient team. If you are looking for a fun, collaborative group in a fast-paced, BUSY environment - you have found us!

Monday - Friday NO weekends!

As a Medical Assistant with our practice you will be responsible for providing support to ensure efficient patient throughput and quality care. You will support providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical assisting procedures within scope of practice
• Escort patients to exam rooms, measure vital signs, and document all information in patient's electronic chart (athenahealth)
• Give instructions to patients as instructed by provider
• Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintain instruments, prepare sterilization as required
• Take telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patients/physicians
• Perform diagnostic procedures when ordered, to include EKGs, urine dip, spirometry, etc.
• All other duties as assigned by Manager

Skills

• Proven working experience as a medical assistant
• Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Reliable Transportation
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
