About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Medical Officer to join us and provide quality health care to Defence Force Personnel on base at Gaza Ridge Barracks. Located in Bandiana, close to Wodonga/Albury, Gaza Ridge Health Centre also operates the Latchford Clinic on Latchford Barracks.
Serco would love to invite you to join our team and play a key role within an experienced multidisciplinary health care team at Gaza Ridge Health Centre. With guaranteed day shifts Monday-Friday, this position supports the perfect work-life balance. As a Medical Officer, you will be responsible for delivering medical services in a primary healthcare setting including: Sick parade consultations General Practitioner consultations Health screenings Health assessments to determine deployability of Personnel

To be successful in this role, you will have:
The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour. Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Medical Practitioner, General in Australia with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) OR, Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) OR Vocational Registration. Minimum of 2 years full-time post graduate general practitioner experience in a general practice setting within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent) as determined by RACGP and ACRRM. Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.

About Gaza Ridge Health Centre
The Gaza Ridge Health Centre is located on Gaza Ridge South at Bandiana near Wodonga. This facility provides primary health care, as well as dental, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical services to over 5000 Defence Force members. Additionally, the facility operates a 24/7 20 bed low dependency ward. Standard operating hours of the centre are 0730-1530 Monday-Friday.

You are an experienced medical professional with solid foundations as a General Practitioner. Your passion for providing the highest quality medical services is at the heart of everything you do. You have a friendly and professional manner which automatically puts patients at ease and you take pride in your ability to inspire trust from both your patients and colleagues alike. You are a respectful and professional person who demonstrates exceptional moral values in everything you do. You are passionate about providing clinical services and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support delivery of the highest standard of care to patients.
