We are looking for an experienced medical receptionist to join our team. You will be working in our clinic in Rockhampton Mater Hospital , QLD. We are currently seeking a part-time permanent receptionist working on a rotating roster between the core hours of 8:00am to 6:00pm . Flexibility for 2 - 3 shifts per week.

Reporting to the Area Office Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing high level reception duties and administrative services whilst ensuring the delivery of professional, caring and friendly services to patients, referrers and other customers.

What will you be doing?

• Being the first point of contact for all our patients (in person, call and email)
• Giving patients the quality care associated with I-MED Radiology Network
• Assisting patients to make and amend bookings, general preparation and billing information relating to the procedure.

Key selection criteria:

• Previous medical receptionist (highly desirable)
• Ability to manage high volume calls
• Demonstrated initiative and willingness to learn
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment

Covid-19 Vaccination Policy
