We are seeking a motivated administrative professional to join our team as a Medical Records Clerk at Wollongong Private Hospital.

Full Time / Part Time Opportunity!

About the Role

You will be joining our Medical Records Team holding a key responsibility of maintaining patient medical records for the hospital. You will be rotating duties within the team and have the opportunity to offer general administrative support to other elements of the team from time to time.

In this role, you will report to Clinical Coding Manger and work closely with a supportive small team.

About You

To succeed in this role you will bring a professional administrative skillset and, ideally, experience within the Health Industry. You will be a proactive professional with strong attention to detail and the capability to effectively manage your time throughout the work day. Any experience with Patient Management Systems will be highly desired.

You will also bring;

Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong attention detail

Strong time management skills

Ability to cope with demanding situations and strict deadlines

Demonstrated ability to respect privacy and confidentiality

Intermediate computer knowledge/ literacy

Experience within a similar role in a hospital or health care setting will be highly regarded, though not essential

Knowledge of health fund contracts is highly regarded but not essential

Requirements

Everyone who joins Ramsay:
