The Membership and Programming Manager will develop and implement a strategic plan designed to ensure the quality and consistency of programming and boost member satisfaction, while meeting the financial goals of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

• A Release Expert
• Understand and uphold Release’s mission and core values
• Become knowledgeable in all lines of business
• Have or develop an expertise in MindBody Software - ability to troubleshoot software issues independently or by working directly with MindBody support.
• Ability to lead and collaborate with members of the Release Team
• Full knowledge of and participation in Release operations

• Team Development and Management
• Hire and develop the best of the best instructors.
• Participate in leadership meetings
• Facilitate instructor meetings quarterly and as needed
• Educate and train the Release team to speak about all Release offerings knowledgeably and authentically. - Keep guest service and call center staff up to date on any programming changes or updates.
• Uphold policies with the instructor team - especially ensuring safety, cleanliness, reliability, and mission/core value alignment agreements are being upheld.
• Foster an environment of independence, positivity and problem solving.
• Regularly compile and report statistics, to guide future programming and team development.

• Memberships
• Develop and implement a strategic plan that includes tactics to retain existing members and attract new members.
• Proactively engage with members and develop relationships with members to gather feedback in order to optimize the membership experience.
• Onboard new members to help them receive maximum value from their memberships and access programming safely.
• Provide tours to visitors, and follow up with nurture campaigns.
• Plan and implement member only events and other fun member activities.
• Proactively use reports and other data to identify membership growth opportunities, "at-risk" members who are not taking full advantage of the membership, opportunities to develop relationships, follow up with members and keep thorough records.

• Marketing and Sales
• Collaborate with marketing to develop effective marketing initiatives.
• Support the marketing team by attending expos, workshops, and other special Release events as needed.
• Build relationships with corporate and community partners.
• Participate in strategic planning meetings

Required Experience and Skill Sets:

• A bachelor’s degree with two to three years of management experience

• Ability to multitask, execute time management and problem-solving skills, organization and follow-up skills

• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification

• Competent (or can quickly become proficient) in MindBody and Excel.

Sanctuary houses our 1500 square foot heated yoga studio, a high-tech fitness studio, fully-stocked locker rooms, a luxurious spa, heat and light healing experiences, and a second boutique. The beautifully landscaped grounds include an outdoor yoga and fitness space, meditation garden, tranquility garden, and fire pit for outside events.
