As some with significant professional work experience in Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics and an
expert with SQL Server, Microsoft BI (MSBI) - SSIS / SSRS / SSAS,
Power BI, and ideally experience in
Azure data tools - Data Factory, Databricks etc - you understand the value of data to help solve business problems.
You will also have a passion for data visualisation whether it's developing models, prototypes, reports or dashboards.
You’re happy to roll up your sleeves and see projects through from end-to-end including mapping business processes, conduct requirements analysis and documentation. Most importantly you understand that your role is all about helping our clients source, transform and interpret data into actionable metrics to optimise their business.

Required skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role as a Microsoft BI / Analytics Specialist
- Advanced skills in SQL Server
- Significant, commercial, hands-on experience across the Microsoft BI stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
- An expert in Power BI
- Experience working in a complex enterprise data warehouse environment
- Solid Agile environment experience
- Knowledge and experience of DWH, BI, and analytics best practice
- Ability to develop requirements into actionable business analytics strategies, roadmaps, and BI solutions
- Able to quickly build strong relationships with decision-makers, and become their trusted advisor
- Knowledge of Azure data tools; Databricks, Data Factory, Data Lake etc. Python and R would be beneficial, but are not essential
