The role:
Within Kent Groups newly established Mobile Storage Division, the Mobile Storage Driver is a Team Leader position, responsible for carrying out the job in a safe, efficient and professional manner, ensuring accurate recording of incoming and outgoing deliveries and safe driving practices.
In addition to the storage removal and delivery, the Mobile Storage Driver is primarily responsible for maintaining the condition of the assigned vehicle, equipment and all respective tools associated with their fleet.
Some of what you will be doing:

• Ensure that equipment and vehicle are handled and manoeuvred with personal safety in mind.
• Perform basic safety analysis and service requirements on company vehicle.
• Ensure driving route to client site is done in a timely manner for loading and returning to base.
• Facilitating the removal/delivery processes appreciating that customer service can go a long way.
• Liaising with Head Office to ensure all key staff are up to date on the status of the job.

About you: *
Ideally you will have experience in removals, however we provide significant on the job training so would like to also hear from applicants that are new to the industry. What is important to us is that you have strong communication and be customer service focused.
What we need you to have;

• Be physically fit
• A current car licence
• A minimum of 6 months driving experience in a work environment
• Integrity and a positive attitude
• Great organisational and time management skills
• Strong safety focus with a proactive approach to improving safety and compliance
