The Opportunity With WSP

The continued growth of talent acquisition and resource movement in WSP requires support from our Mobility team. This role presents the opportunity to provide guidance regarding mobility issues to the business including immigration, tax, and international assignment benefits.

Role responsibilities include (but not limited to):

  • Supports the Business in International and Domestic Mobility related matters.
  • Performing reviews of high-risk Immigration and Tax Assessments, liaising with the Finance / Tax teams.
  • Process mobility initiations (new assignments, extensions, demobilisations)
  • Preparation of international and domestic assignment agreements and cost estimates
  • Maintaining reports and visa tracking systems incorporating continued improvement.
  • Relationship management and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders to assist assignees in coordinating relocation.
  • Managing a central mailbox and responding timely and accurately to the enquiries.
  • Audit and review relocation offer to external hire Candidates.
  • Processing and coordinating vendor invoice payments, working alongside the internal finance team and business stakeholders.
  • Participate in Global Mobility networking events both internal and external
  • Research and develop an understanding of global and domestic mobilisation market trends
  • Maintaining and tracking information, and proactively identifying potential process improvements and enhancements to templates.
  • Participate in education and facilitation of Mobility Training workshops for relevant stakeholders
  • Adhoc project work as required

Key role experiences, skills and qualifications:

  • Typically, 1 to 2 years of relevant industry experience in mobility and/or human resources function.
  • Demonstration of understanding of global mobility/HR policies and processes.
  • Proven strong customer focus with the ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships through continual communication and management of expectations.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good level of numeracy and data skills.
  • Good skills in MS Word and Excel
  • Results-focused with good problem-solving skills
  • University degree in HR or a related field
  • Outstanding stakeholder management skills with the proven ability to influence and effectively engage with a range of critical and diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in building internal networks with key stakeholders.
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills with an 'eye for detail'.
  • Ability to work to a high standard individually or as part of a team.
