About the role

As a Postal Delivery Officer, you will start your early mornings sorting mail and small parcels before you go out and deliver on your motorbike in all types of weather.

To do that, you’ll need:

• To be a confident and experienced rider on a motorcycle
• A current and valid motorcycle licence
• To successfully pass our mandatory and practical riding assessment
• A great memory and hand/eye co-ordination to sort the mail
• To be fit enough to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly
• To meet our safe working load limit of weighing 100kgs or less

What we are looking for?

• A friendly, enthusiastic and reliable personality who enjoys interacting with others
• Someone who enjoys early morning starts, and can be counted on to deliver mail to where it needs to go
• The flexibility to put in extra hours if required
• A Team player
• A commitment to Australia Post’s Occupational Health and Safety standards

Perm/Fixed-Term Roles

Salary for this role is $50,697 plus 12% super per annum upon completion of 3 months service and 15% loading.

Casual Roles

Salary for this role is up to $50,697 plus 12% super per annum and 15% loading where you work a shift that attracts a penalty.
