Based in our Outer North Brisbane and Sunshine Coast clinic's, a permanent full-time opportunity exists for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our friendly and collaborative team.
Reporting to the Chief Technologist, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine including radiopharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard.
As the area's main provider of radiology services at both Caboolture Hospital and Buderim Private Hospital, you will be exposed to a multitude of unique and interesting cases, including PET scans.
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will manage patients and operate specialised imaging equipment in accordance with professional standards. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and energetic person who is willing to learn in a busy hospital settings.
This position could be suited to a new graduate or a more established Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

Key accountabilities include:
  • Performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine including radio-pharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard
  • Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff and managers
  • Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards
Key selection criteria:
  • Demonstrated ability to perform high quality Nuclear Medicine examinations independently
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff
  • Tertiary qualification in Nuclear Medicine
  • Applicants must be AHPRA Registered
  • Diagnostic CT accreditation would be an advantage but not required.
