Royal North Shore Hospital is seeking Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing to join our Nurse Bank - permanent full time and part time positions are available.
Where you'll be working
Nurse bank staff will work across all areas of Royal North Shore Hospital to cover any shortfalls. Staff will be allocated to a particular unit for an extended period to cover vacancies and planned leave, as well as moving around the facility to cover any unplanned vacancies. Nurse bank staff are expected to work a mix of mornings, evenings and nights, but have the freedom to self roster all their hours.
What you'll be doing
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individual/s and the greater health care team to achieve quality patient care outcome.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

- Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse - with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Assistants in Nursing require current enrolment in Bachelor of Nursing or degree deemed appropriate or completion of HLT32507 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance
- Provide evidence of current experience in an acute hospital environment, including examples of current clinical knowledge and critical thinking. Assistants in Nursing must have completed an acute hospital placement.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- A commitment to excellence in nursing practice and continuing professional development.
